Our Mission
Kerala Palace Restaurant was founded with a heartfelt mission: to bring the
authentic flavours of Kerala's kitchens to the tables of Calgary, Canada.
Located at 6815 Temple Dr NE in the heart of northeast Calgary, we are proudly
rooted in the cultural identity and culinary pride of Kerala — a southern Indian
state affectionately known as "God's Own Country," renowned worldwide for its
fresh coconut, aromatic spices, and a distinctive cooking tradition passed down
through generations.

Our Kitchen
Our menu is a celebration of Kerala's most beloved classics. From fragrant
Kerala Biryanis and crispy Masala Dosas to the iconic Karimeen Pollichathu
(pearl spot fish wrapped in banana leaf), traditional banana-leaf thalis,
slow-cooked Beef Fry, flaky Kizhi Porotta, soft Appam, and fresh seafood
curries — every dish is prepared using authentic spices and techniques
passed down through generations. We also offer a thoughtfully curated
Continental menu featuring gourmet burgers and grilled plates, so every
guest finds something satisfying.
03
Our Community
Kerala Palace has grown to be more than a restaurant — it is a cultural
anchor for Calgary's Malayali community. We actively sponsor local cricket
tournaments, Calgary Malayali Association events, and multicultural
festivals in NE Calgary, strengthening our ties with the Keralite diaspora
and the broader northeast Calgary community. Open 7 days a week from
10 AM to midnight, and offering dine-in, takeout, tiffin service, and
full-scale catering, we are committed to serving Calgary far beyond the
dining room.
